| Taylor-Lynn Morrow is now. officially. engaged. finally! SO exciting! Drew flew her up the Banff to take a "vacation" staying with family (best mountains in the North America, and that's in Canada if ya'll Americans didn't know), then went on a long walk overlooking the water and popped the jolly question. Romantic?
I'm so excited for the both of them; they finally have the promise of their marriage, and they are so darn cute together! So that's the update on those love birds.... My family has a surprise for everyone, but i just can't tell anyone yet! Sorry, but ya'll are just gonna have to wait. =) *SWEET 16*
Yes it's true - i turned sixteen on September 19th, and had the most wonderful birthday a girl could ask for. Just when i thought it couldn't get any better...it did!
My dad took me out to the Cheesecake Factory in Richmond for our annual "daddy date" he takes us on every year for our birthdays. I got all dolled up in a gorgeous prom dress, pounds of makeup, and my dad wore a suit and tie.
On the way down we got stuck in really bad traffic and made our original hour long trip an almost two our car ride...it was wonderful. It was nice to just have two hours with just me and my daddy. I love him so much!
When we got there they were to full to seat us inside (because they don't accept reservations), so they gave us the option of eating outside, and that's what we did. We ate on the porch with a candlelight table, overlooking the mall and the beautiful September night. The meal was incredible, the cheesecake was even more so, and the gift my parents gave me was perfect, but the company was the best. =)
On the way back to Williamsburg i asked my dad when he first started loving my mom, and the rest of the car ride he told me their whole story.
It was one of the best nights of my life, and I’ll always remember it for the rest of my life.
I’ll try to remember to post some pictures of my dad and i (especially my glamorous dress!)
I am a truly blessed woman to have such a wonderful father. Sophomore year is a blast! I've made really nice friends, and my classes are only getting better as the semester progresses. I can tell already this will be an unforgettable year in my life at Jamestown high school. | | |
| My friend is such a jerk. That's all there is to it. JERK. He irritates me so badly, i'm glad we never have a close friendship, because now i can see what i never saw before. | I'm having confused emotions about someone right now. Half of me enjoys the attention and is flattered, but the other half is disgusted at the thought of playing with his heart. But is it really playing with his heart? That's why i'm confused. Summer is almost over and the school year is almost here. That really depresses me. I have had the most wonderful summer yet, and i don't want it to be just a memorie...i want keep living it...as long as i can.
We just had a cook-out to celebrate the summer interns, and to say goodbye. Now youth group will go back to it's pitiful state...and this time we don't have Tracy. (yeah, she moved away)
Atleast Michael is coming back. I can really tell that he loves it here, and Erica really cares about us.
Myles left, and i didn't even get to say goodbye. The last time he saw me i was sleeping on the couch totally out of it. haha. But now i'm thinking it was better that way because i hate goodbyes. Why must time go on? Why must friends come and go? Why does summer have to end? All i know is that God is faithful, and i will see His strength and power in my life and the lives of others around me. | I just found three new bands on myspace, and they are all called Forever Changed. I still can't figure out if they are they same band, or three different bands...kinda weird. But anywho, they are really really good. Check them out, you won't be disappointed.
So my life right now! I currently feel content. I love summer so so so much, i never want it to end.
Last night i went out with Becky to dinner and then starbucks and we had a wonderful wonderful time. There is something about deep conversations with your girl friends that get you through your week and make you feel...happy. I love Becky so much, and i love talking with her about anything and everything...and just being girls. =)
